Deals for smartphones, tablets and laptops

Google Pixel 6A

Pixel 6A (8/10, WIRED Recommend) wasn’t out long ago, but it’s already $50 off. This is a great price for favorite smartphone. This Pixel offers the best performance you can get for your money, meaning you can run all of your favorite apps and games without problems. Its 60 Hz display is bright enough for sunny days, the battery lasts all day reliably, and the camera is excellent. This agreement is also available at Target and Best buy.

This deal has popped up a few times since Official Day, but it’s still a great price for one Top Pixels (9/10, WIRED Recommend). You’ll get the same performance as the Pixel 6A but with higher-end cameras, wireless charging, a 90 Hz display, and better build materials. Google will release a successor in October, so if you want the best, it’s worth the wait. Read ours Google Pixel Tutorial for more. This price is suitable for Target and Best buy.

If you want to save as much as you can, here’s another great Android phone (8/10, WIRED Recommend). You get perks like a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with 120 Hz . refresh rate, good performance and more than a day of battery life. It will get four OS upgrades and five years of security updates, so it should last you for a long time.

Apple ipad

Apple is expected to announce a new iPad at the September 7 event, although it may be pushed to a separate October event. The new 10th-generation iPad is expected to feature USB-C charging, the same design as the new iPad Air, and a more powerful processor. It’s worth the wait to see what’s new, but that doesn’t stop the 9th Gen iPad (8/10, WIRED Recommend) from becoming an incredible slate. If you need a new iPad right now and your budget is tight, this is a good deal. You can also snag accessory for better user experience. This Agreement is executed at Best buy.

This is the best deal we’ve tracked Favorite Chromebooks. The 2-in-1 design makes it easy to switch between work and play, and it’s powerful enough to handle most average tasks. Its especially good for studentsas long as they are comfortable working entirely within the Chrome browser.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE

Photo: Samsung

Want a big screen Android tablet? Here Samsung model fits the bill, and it comes with an S Pen that can magnetically stick to the back of the slate. It has a sharp and bright LCD screen, decent speakers, and the best software support of any Android tablet. Sadly there is no headphone jack. I tested the LTE version and found its performance to be a bit slow, but this Wi-Fi-only model has a better processor and should run much smoother.

If you don’t mind the slightly smaller screen, the newer screen Tab S8 will give you much better performance, so any and all games will feel buttery smooth on this 11 inch 120 Hz LCD monitor. It also comes with an S Pen, has excellent speakers, and will be supported through software updates for a very long time.

Game, Streaming and TV Deals

SanDisk Extreme Portable Hard Drive

Photo: Amazon

This hard drive doesn’t normally cost more than $130, but this $20 price drop puts it down to the lower end we’ve seen in recent months. A 2-TB version is also on sale, albeit at a smaller discount. These rugged hard drives are both durable and portable. They are great for photographers and videographers who need to back up footage in the field, especially because of their super-fast read and write speeds. Read more in our Best portable storage guide.

This wireless headset is available in several color schemes, and all of them are on sale. Wireless connectivity is available on PC, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, PS4 and PS5. The built-in microphone and 18-hour battery life are decent, and while the sound quality isn’t great, it’s hard to find a reliable wireless connection at this price point. This Agreement is executed at Target, Best buyand Walmart. Read ours The best wireless gaming headset guide for more information.

Streaming deals don’t come around often, and that goes double for deals that include existing customers. Plans with ads also sell for $70 (usually $120). Read more about it in Best streaming service guide.

Home and mattress deals

iRobot Roomba J7 +

Photo: iRobot

This is a great price on Favorite robot vacuum cleaner. The J7+ earns the top spot in our compilation because it has better navigation skills than its competitors. In addition to the dump bin, we also like the included storage for extra brushes and other misplaced accessories. Read our tips on Get the most out of your robot vacuum.

The Eufy 30C goes on sale pretty often, but this deal beats the others we’ve seen. Eufy is owned by Anker and although this model is not on Best robot vacuum cleaner list, the brand is generally reliable and we have liked its budget before. The 30C lacks smart mapping, and it relies on boundary bands to figure out areas to avoid. It may not be the smartest robot, but it is one of the most affordable.

This is in line with the deal we saw during Prime Day earlier this year. As mentioned in our review (7/10, WIRED Recommend), this small smart screen more suitable for a nightstand or end table than a kitchen counter. The Nest Hub has one big benefit over its competitors — it doesn’t have a camera. If the thought of putting Google-owned eyeballs in your bedroom excites you, this is a good choice. You can ask Google Assistant for almost anything and use it to control smart devices in your home. You can also save on Google Nest Hub Maxwhich do have a camera (this allows video calls). Both Nest Hub and Nest Hub Max deals are price matched at Best Buy.

Helix Sleep Midnight Luxe

Photo: Helix

Insert code LDSALE200 at checkout to see the discount. This deal is pretty standard and comes several times a year. Helix Midnight Luxe is best mattress we tested. It has a Goldilocks effect—not too hard, not too soft—so it will work well no matter how you like to sleep. You also get two pillows.

Casper is our second favorite hybrid mattress. Hybrid models tend to be better for most people than all-foam models. This discount is pretty standard, and it’s a bit more affordable than the Helix above. Read more about these and other recommendations in Best mattress guide.

Headphones and Outdoor Deals

AirPods Max.

Photo: Apple

We’ve seen AirPods Max (8/10, WIRED Recommend) dropped this low price a few times, but this deal doesn’t happen often. In line with the incredible MSRP, these are absolutes best noise canceling headphones you can buy. They have excellent sound quality and noise cancellation, although they are best suited for iPhone users.

When it comes to the balance between cost and features, the Google Pixel Buds A-Series (8/10, WIRED Recommend) does a great job. They hold the top spot in The best wireless headphones guide. We don’t like the battery life, and they lack some of the bells and whistles you get on more expensive earbuds, but they still offer a lot of value. They can automatically connect to many Android phones and are sweat resistant. This price is the icing on the cake.

We really like the Sony LinkBuds (8/10, WIRED Recommend). They have been on the market for a few months and they are among the best wireless headphones we tested, especially for people who use buds when they are out. That’s because they emit background noise much better than most earbuds, which means you can hear traffic while running or cycling outdoors. Our test The best wireless headphones guide for more information.

Single Kitchen Pi

Photo: Kitchen alone

Solo Pi Kitchen (8/10, WIRED Recommend) is our favorite pizza oven. We love the design, both aesthetically and functionally. It doesn’t take up too much space and the top of the oven doubles as a flat cooktop. Its biggest drawback is the list price, but this deal solves that and it beats previous sales by as much as $50. Read more about it, and additional recommendations, in Best Pizza Oven guide.

Normally, it’s pretty easy to get $10 off this speaker, but the $30 discount matches the best deal we’ve seen. Clip 4 rock, thanks to the built-in carabiner, making it easy to tune in to the tunes of rollerblading or disc golf. Despite its small size, the sound quality is surprisingly good. Onboard buttons let you control your music, and the case is dust and water resistant, so beach days don’t matter. It’s one of those Best Bluetooth speaker we have tested.

No coupon code needed to participate in this offer, which runs through September 5. Dry bags, compression packs and gear packs are all on sale. The Dry trash cans for $30 ($10 off) is especially handy for keeping your campsite tidy and your footprint small without using plastic bags.
