AAP’s Manish Sisodia Alleges Poaching Attempt
The AAP asked its newly elected councilors to record phone calls alluding to poaching

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Wednesday alleged that the BJP is trying to woo newly elected AAP councilors and insisted that none of them would fall prey to their “game”.
He said newly elected councilors had been instructed to record “such phone calls” in case they received them.
Sisodia’s allegations come after the Aam Aadmi Party won the MCD polls with 134 seats, ending the BJP’s 15 years of rule in the prestigious municipal conglomerate and reducing the National Assembly to just nine seats. in the 250th House of Representatives.
The BJP, predicted to be a flop in the polls, fought hard, winning the city’s 104 wards.
“The BJP game has started. Our newly elected councilors have started receiving phone calls. None of our councilors will be sold. We’ve told everyone. all of their councilors that if they get a phone call or if someone comes to see them, they should record those calls and the meetings,” he said in a tweet in Hindi.

BJP IT head Amit Malviya also hinted that the mayoral election remains an open game and noted that Chandigarh, where its rival is the largest party, has a mayor from the BJP ranks.
“Now move on to electing the mayor for Delhi. It will all depend on who can hold the numbers in a tight competition, how the nominated councilors vote, etc. For example, Chandigarh has a BJP mayor,” he wrote on Twitter.
Delhi BJP spokesman Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga also announced that the city will again have a mayor from his party.
