Alex Eala becomes the highest ranked Southeast Asia in WTA

MANILA, Philippines — Alex Eala has soared to the top of the latest WTA rankings.
Eala skyrocketed to 340th, jumping 73 places from 413 just a week ago.
The Filipino tennis player continued to sublimate after finishing in second place W60 Madrid race, contest.
At 340th place, Eala is currently the highest ranked Southeast Asian female tennis player.
17-year-old Eala will compete at the W25 Open Generali Ciudad de Palma de Rio in Spain starting on June 27.
Eala is looking for a third ITF title in the pro ring after winning the W25 Chiang Rai last April.
