Allbirds Canvas Pacers Sneaker Editor Review

For me, part of growing up involves developing into a style that really works for me, rather than one that only fits the latest fashions or TikTok’s ever-changing aesthetic trends. Among my latest style revelations is the discovery of levels really value is comfortable. While people younger than me are committed to wearing high-heeled sandals, button-down blouses, and skinny jeans, these days, I’m totally into and easy fashion feels as good as it looks – think floral dresses, wide-leg jeans and, of course, a pair of sneakers or two.

While I’m not a sneakerhead at all, I do appreciate the shoe’s go-anywhere nature, allowing me to get the most out of the style and also reduce the size of my suspiciously large collar in the process. this (less is more, because I’m learning!). However, until very recently, casual sports shoes I really trust my trusty Nike Air Force 1s. And while shoes are, in many ways, still one of my wardrobe staples, I find myself itching to invest in another pair of sneakers that will provide all the same comfort. but with a more up-to-date and refreshing flair. Naturally, when I discovered that Allbirds – aka the internet favorite brand known for its famously cozy and sustainable shoes – was launching a brand new pair of sneakers designed Designed for everyday use, I know I’ve just found my new style of sneakers for fall.

Import Allbirds Canvas Pacers Sneakers ($110) – the brand’s newest lifestyle sneaker, launching today, features a unique look crafted with curves and a wavy midsole, plus a hybrid component innovative (and sustainable!). I had the opportunity to try out the style for myself and have dubbed it the perfect everyday shoe. Read on to hear my honest thoughts!

What I love about these Allbirds sneakers

The lightweight nature of these sneakers is a big hit for me. I know chunky shoes It’s all the rage right now, but at least for me, I appreciate owning a pair of sneakers that are durable, protective, but still light enough to last all day. My Nike Air Force 1 shoes have long been my go-to, but these Allbirds Pacers are slowly becoming my favorite style – especially when I’m running errands, looking forward to a Busy day outside the house or just expecting me’ I’ll stand on my feet a lot.

I also like that they have a lower heel shape for more breathability and ease of movement. High heels tend to feel more constricted around the ankle, which is not entirely true. with these sneakers. As a brand, Allbirds is also committed to sustainability, so I appreciate the fact that these shoes are made with organic cotton, along with a soft and lightweight lining made of 62% of the material. The brand’s Tree and 38% recycled polyester, plus a cane green EVA midsole and a natural rubber side and outsole. Nice sneakers, feel good, and made to do good? We love watching it.

Something worth noting

The biggest takeaway here is that this Allbirds sneaker is only available to shop in full size. Depending on the style, my shoe size can usually range from 9.5 to 10, so I was initially worried about what exact size to order. Is size 9 too tight? Is the number 10 too bulky? I ended up with a US women’s size 10 and was pleasantly surprised by the fit. I didn’t find the shoe too tight, but it was just enough for me to feel strongly supported when walking in the sneaker. All of this being said, if you normally wear half a size in shoes, it’s worth noting that these sneakers don’t have much of an extended sizing offering – and I personally recommend going up the size. ruler.

One thing to keep in mind would be the color. I tend to lean towards white or neutral sneakers simply because they are more versatile and easier to match with everyday wear than a flashy or busy pair of sneakers. With that, I tested this style with natural white tones. While Pacers are super chic and cool, the colors of the style tend to change (or at least look different) depending on sun exposure, as these photos can see. I don’t mind this – if it does, it feels like I’m getting two different shoe styles in one. But if you’re looking for a serious pair of white sneakers to have in your wardrobe, investing in a different or less abstract shoe is worth it.

Who are these Allbirds sneakers best for?

Sneaker lovers, athletes, and even those who just crave all-day comfort in their shoes will love and appreciate these Allbirds everyday sneakers. Unlike some of the brand’s other sporty styles, the Pacers certainly don’t have to function as a long-lasting running or outdoor shoe, but that doesn’t make them any less comfortable or durable. Whether you’re anticipating a hectic travel season, navigating a particularly long commute to work, or just need a pair of hiking sneakers to take in anytime, the Allbirds Canvas Pacers will be the perfect complement. for anyone’s wardrobe – especially for fall.
