Jackson’s attorney, Walter Mosley, provided a statement to Tonight’s reception after filing in a formal court on Tuesday.

“The allegations against him are completely baseless,” Mosley wrote. “As Plaintiffs’ complaint makes clear, the police, with whom DeMario fully cooperated more than three years ago, found the accusations of these women to be of no value.”

Mosley claimed police refused to pursue the matter.

“In the coming days, we will release evidence that we shared with police at the time of the alleged incidents,” he said. “Unfortunately, DeMario and I will have to join this fight again to clear his name.”

Mosley wrote that he expected the same “delete result”.

Jackson appeared on Season 17 of ABC Bachelorette and Part 4 of Bachelor in Paradise, both in 2017.

In the lawsuit, the two women accuse Jackson of “trolling the internet or trying to find unsuspecting women, such as Plaintiffs, to abuse them.”

Jane Doe 1, a 25-year-old woman from Pittsburgh, claims to have met Jackson on a dating app.

She and Jackson were dating in downtown Los Angeles. She alleges Jackson had “contact” with her late in the night. Jane Doe 1 described this behavior as “unacceptable.”

“Jane Doe 1 was shocked and felt trapped,” the lawsuit states.

After Jackson apologized, Jane Doe 1 announced they had dated a few more times.

After one such date, the woman claimed Jackson “forcibly sexually assaulted her” while he was intoxicated, despite her repeated verbal disagreements. Jane Doe 1 finished the rape kit in a local hospital the next day. In the lawsuit, she said she was “obsessed with images” of the sexual assault. She also claims to have resigned from both her university and her workplace.

A 28-year-old Cleveland resident, Jane Doe 2, claims to have met Jackson on social media in 2019. The following year, Jackson asked Jane Doe 2 on a date at his home, the lawsuit alleges.

The accuser is “still traumatized and completely distressed”, the lawsuit states. The attorney representing both women, Keith M. Davidson, also released a statement:

“Women who have told their horror stories of being brutally sexually assaulted by Mr Jackson are the latest brave victims to share their stories of how a powerful man how he used his celebrity status to manipulate, intimidate and silence them,” he wrote.

“They, like so many other victims of the #metoo calculation, will no longer be silent. Justice must be served,” the statement read. “We want all wrongdoers to be held accountable for their despicable and scarred acts.”

In 2017, Jackson was accused of sexual misconduct on set Bachelor in Paradise. Co-star Corinne Olympios made the report, although no evidence of misconduct was found in the Warner Bros. Jackson and Olympios were both dropped from the show.
