One of my favorite things is traveling with my family. We travel quite a bit for work, and having fun, we’ve tried so many different gadgets, I wanted to put together a list of my tried and true favorites. There have been a ton of great travel accessories for kids over the years that make traveling so much easier.
The Doona stroller (stroller/carseat combo) was one of the last baby buys we used every day when we first had our toddler Ollie and Donna Trike equivalents. After Ollie passed the carseat, we switched to the Doona Trike and we used it all. the. time. It is a combination of tricycle and trolley and perfect for toddlers, both when traveling or at home running errands, going for a walk, etc. It folds up to fit inside the included backpack so you can easily pack it up and toss it over. shoulder when not in use. It’s super light and large portable size so it’s perfect for flights, road trips or just everyday use. People always stop and ask us about it. Definitely a toddler accessory that will change the way you travel.
Here telephone case It’s great when we phone support for our kids to watch a show at the airport or turn on Ollie’s shows on the plane. It clamps to the tray board so the ollie doesn’t always have to touch it to change it. It’s under $25 and we even use it when not traveling, it’s also great for Ollie when out and about running errands! Older kids love it too.
This scooter suitcase is a genius! They are sized to fit all children and can be attached and detached from the scooter wheel base and can even be folded into a regular wheelchair suitcase. It keeps the kids entertained at the airport if we have to take a long break and I love that they have a scooter to move around as we explore on vacation. It’s definitely a waste but SO worth it in my opinion. I also love how the kids can use the scooter part alone, so it’s super versatile!
I like Ollie’s wireless headphones because he often gets annoyed with tangled wires and a hassle to put on and take off. Here kids size pair under $30 and I love how they are made for kids and have hearing protection built in so the volume doesn’t get too loud.
- When Ollie passed Doona stroller, I missed having such an easy commute with a carseat so I was super excited when I found this passenger car seat. We usually rent a car when we travel and drive out and explore, so having a car seat is a must but carrying a big and heavy carseat is a big deal. difficult things. This travel car seat has been a complete game changer! It’s super lightweight and can be folded into the included carry-on bag. (You can also buy it without the carrying case here – colorful.)
Let me know if you like any of these travel accessories you’d like to try!
