Anushka Sharma fans have reason to celebrate. The actress completed the film Chakda Xpress, a biopic about Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. Anushka tweeted several photos from the wrap-up celebration, where she was seen wearing a cricket jersey and short hair like Jhulan while updating her followers. Jhulan, who gave the final applause for the film and whose life and career is depicted in the film, can also be viewed. The image of a two-tiered cake bearing the film’s name and the caption “65 days, 7 schedules and 6 cities” was also included on the carousel.
Anushka captioned the image, “It’s an end on #ChakdaXpress and thanks to Jhulan Goswami for the final round of applause to end the shoot! #ComingSoon #ChakdaXpressOnNetflix.”
Anushka Sharma last appeared as a guest in Qala on Netflix. Her most recent standout was in the 2018 film Zero, which also stars Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. In recent years, she has been quite active as a producer.
