MANILA, Philippines – Exactly one week after winning his first UAAP championship, Kai Ballungay got his second ring when he married his partner, Bella Dahl, on Monday.
Ballungay, who played a key role in the Ateneo Blue Eagles’ Season 85 title in his first year, took to Instagram to share photos of his California wedding.
The Ballungays got married the day after Christmas, following Ateneo’s 75-68 championship win over the University of the Philippines in Game 3 last week at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
“That’s 2 bells in 22,” Ballungay also tweeted.

The 6-foot-7 winger failed to score in the 1 Finals before he comes back with 15 points and 5 bounces to help Ateneo balance the series.
Ballungay got four points and six goals in Game 3 win-win-all as man Blue Eagle regains the championship they lost to Fighting Maroons in Season 84 last May.
Ballungay will be one of the key pillars of coach Tab Baldwin next season as Ange Kouame, Dave Ildefonso and BJ Andrade are all out of competition.
