The midfield-midfielder link is very important in football, so this week we’re going to look at five recruiting classes that have the best class for 2023. We start with the ACC.

1. CLEMSON: Christopher Vizzina and Ronan Hanafin
Vizzina was not surrounded by talented players at Birmingham (Ala.) Briarwood Christian and had to work hard for his fouls, including running the ball 129 times in 11 touches. But he’ll have a bunch of great pass catchers when he arrives Clemson.
The Tigers didn’t quite attract players in this recruiting class but they did have two very talented people committed and then Hanafin, who was rated as a four-star athlete but was expected to play receiver in college. He is also a safe star at Cambridge (Mass.) Buckingham Browne & Nichols.
Vizzina is not flashy but effective and reminds us Sam Darnold at the same stage. Hanafin is just a pitcher who will find his way to the field one way or another. Their relationship over the next few years could be truly special.

2. MIAMI: Emory Williams and Nathaniel Joseph
miami there was bad news in the past week when the four-star midfielder Jaden Rashada flip over Florida but that gives Williams an even bigger chance in the future to star with the Hurricanes.
The three-star quarterback, who threw 2,052 yards and 21 touchdowns in his senior season, will pair well with Joseph, a speedster from Miami (Fla.) Edison. He was committed to Clemson but moved to Miami in June.
The Hurricanes have three committed tight finishes in this category and Joseph is the lone recipient right now, as Miami is trying to outpace other local highlights like five-star Brandon Inniss among others.

3. LOUISVILLE: Pierce Clarkson and Deandre Moore
One of the most distinctive connections in the ACC moving forward may be Clarkson and Moore, teammates at the Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco. Clarkson is the leader of Louisvillehis recruiting class as he convinced some of California’s top prospects, including many teammates, to join him with the Cardinals. UCLA is pushing him to expose but he remains committed.
Moore, who has a new visit coming up Georgia and Texas, is one of the better receivers in the nation and is being heavily pursued for its flipping. But the Cardinals have kept his commitment and he could be a game changer, especially having felt comfortable with Clarkson at QB.

4. NORTH CAROLINA: Tad Hudson and Christian Hamilton
If we knew one thing about North CarolinaUnfortunately, Tar Heels will be extremely effective, sending the ball into the sky and scoring on the scoreboard. That’s where Hudson and Hamilton emerge as a special couple in the state that can post big numbers during their time at Chapel Hill.
The three-star midfielder has passed a lot at Cornelius (NC) Hough this season with more than 2,000 passes and 20 touches. Top receivers of 2024 Jalen Harris stole the show at Harrisburg (NC) Hickory Ridge but Hamilton hit impressive numbers. His athletic ability and hands have proven him to be one of the best scorers for the ACC.

5. BANG NC: Lex Thomas and Kevin Concepcion
Thomas is a bit short but definitely has great leadership qualities, he can run a good attack and he is also the leader of State of NChis level not only with Concepcion but also with other wide receivers in the area he is trying to join Wolfpack.
Concepcion was one of those players, and it was hugely successful for NC State when they won against four-star receiver Charlotte (NC) Chambers over North Carolina in August. That connection with Thomas will pay off. in Raleigh, and although Concepcion is the only receiving undertaking listed for NC State right now, there are likely to be many more.
