Britney Spears’ attorney responds to Kevin Federline: ‘We will not tolerate bullying’
The lawyer for Britney Spears is speaking out against a series of videos posted by the singer’s ex-husband, Kevin Federline.
On Wednesday, Federline posted on Instagram multiple videos he believes were shot by Spears’ sons several years ago in which she appeared to disagree verbally and used harsh language with her two children. The videos were later removed from the social media platform, but they were published by TMZ. In a statement to CNN, Spears’ attorney said they are “working with Instagram to ensure that Mr. Federline abides by its rules and we are exploring any appropriate relief available to him.” .”
“Whether he realizes it or not, Mr. Federline has not only invaded the privacy and dignity of the mother of his children, he has also undermined his own children, who that he should protect his privacy,” said Mathew Rosengart, Spears’ attorney. “Mr Federline’s ill-advised decision to post an old video of his 11- and 12-year-olds is cruel, useless.”
Federline said in his post that his family chose to share the videos to illustrate why they’ve been more distant from Spears lately. CNN has reached out to Federline’s attorney for comment.
“It is my honor to work with Britney, suspending her father as a protector, helping her gain her freedom and dignity, and helping to protect her from abuse. bullying she has suffered in the past – and we will not tolerate bullying in any area,” Rosengart said.
