Britney Spears meets her mother again after 3 years: ‘Time heals all wounds’ – Quoc Nghiep

Britney Spears is feeling “lucky” that she and her mother, Lynne Spears, have reconnected.

In an Instagram post shared on Thursday, Britney, 41, told her 42 million followers that her mother had visited her home for the first time in three years.

“My sweet mom showed up at my door yesterday after 3 years… it’s been a long time,” Toxic singer writes. “With family there are always things to deal with…but time heals all wounds!!!”

“And after being able to convey what I have kept for a very long time, I feel so lucky that we were able to try to do everything RIGHT!!!”

Britney says she loves her mom and that she’s “so lucky we can have coffee together after 14 years!!!”

Along with the caption, Britney shared a young photo of herself wearing a pink ruffled ballet dress.

TMZ reports Lynne met Britney at the singer’s home in LA on Thursday and stayed there for about two and a half hours. Britney’s husband, Sam Asghari, 29, was also present.

The Spears mother and daughter have been public about their strained relationship for years. In July 2022, Britney took to social media to accuse Lynne, 68, of abusing her during her infamous 13 years of conservatorship – something she also alleges Lynne masterminded. Lynne has denied both allegations.

When Britney married Asghari in June 2022, neither Lynne, Britney’s father, nor her two sons attended.

At the time, Lynne commented on a post on Britney’s Instagram about her wedding day, writing: “You look so radiant and happy! Your wedding is the ‘Dream’ wedding! And having it at your home makes it so sentimental and special! She continued, “I’m so happy for you! I love you!”

Two months later, Lynne posted an old photo of herself and Britney on her Instagram account with the ostensibly to reach her daughter.

“Britney, my whole life, I have tried my best to support your dreams and desires!” Lynne wrote. “And also, I did my best to help you through the hard times! I have never and will never turn my back on you!

“I’ve flown away and called countless times and got rejected by you, leaving me feeling hopeless!” she continued. “I have tried everything. I love you so much, but this talk is just for you and me, in person, in private.

Months after Lynne’s reminder, Britney posted another Instagram post about her mother in December 2022 while traveling to Mexico. She wrote that she and Lynne should go out for coffee together.

“Mom and Dad… I crossed the border and I did it!!!” she wrote in the caption of a selfie post. “15 years without coffee ☕️ … Mom, we can go have coffee together now!!! I’m treated equally… let’s have a coffee and talk about it!!!”

On February 1, 2008, her father, Jamie Spears, and his attorney, Andrew M. Wallet, placed Britney Spears in conservatorship controlling many aspects of her life. The conservatorship comes amid a series of bizarre, overt behavior Spears her family considers a mental breakdown. (Spears herself has argued that her behavior was innocuous.)

In November 2021, at the height of the #FreeBritney movement, a judge ordered an end to Spears’ conservatorship.
