Bruce Willis ‘happy’ to become a grandfather when daughter Rumer Willis announces pregnancy

Bruce Willis reported to be on the moon about becoming a grandfather, after Rumer’s eldest daughter’s pregnancy announcement.

Rumer’s child, whom she will welcome with her partner Derek Richard Thomas, is her father Bruce and her mother. Demi Moorethe first grandchild in their extended family.

A source close to the family said Everybody“[Bruce] is happy about being a grandpa. He likes to have a big family. They’re all celebrating Christmas together.”

They added, “Lee Tieu Long is enjoying not having to work and spending more time with his family. He prefers to be with his girls.”

The news of Rumer’s pregnancy came after the family announced some more sad news on their side – Bruce’s his diagnosis of aphasia, a language disorder, and his need for later retirement from acting at the age of 67.

Although the condition affects a person’s ability to communicate, there has been some impact on Willis, but that hasn’t stopped him from spending time with his newly formed family.

The Willis family, including Bruce’s current wife, Emma Heming Willis and his ex-wife Moore, had an early Christmas party together a few weeks ago.

Moore and Bruce have always been advocates of staying friends despite their divorce, and they seem to be reaping the rewards of it.

Moore shared some sweet photos from the get-together, captioning her post, “We’re FAMILY!! Into the holiday spirit!”

In the photos, Willis can be seen posing with Emma and Demi, as well as his daughters Tallulah, 28, Scout, 31, Rumer, 34, and him and Emma’s two young daughters, ​​Evelyn Penn, 8 years old, and Mabel Ray, 10 years old.

Bruce isn’t the only one surprised by Rumer’s big news.

Following her sister’s announcement, sister Tallulah shared a hilarious video to her Instagram Stories.

In the video, Scout shows off her dog before zooming in on her face where she reveals a pimple.

“@rumerwillis is growing up and all I’m growing is this huge pimple and my fanbase,” she joked.

Mom Demi Moore has also shared a lot of affection following the news, including a new post about her, Rumer, Tallulah and Scout having an ultrasound for Rumer.

”Say hello to the little nibblet!!” she wrote in the caption. “So excited for you, my sweet Rumer. It’s been an honor to witness your journey of motherhood and can’t wait to welcome this baby into the world!”
