The next step in Gen FF, Garena Free Fire’s collaboration with K-Pop hit BTS, has arrived, with both new in-game items and features and a brand new music video of the band being made. appear completely inside Free Fire.
The music video – featuring the band’s hit 2018 song Idol – features all of the team-designed character skins during the event. Skins have been available for purchase since Gen FF collaboration starts on March 23.
Many new modes and features have also been added to Garena Free Fire as part of Gen FF, including Pop Sway, a limited-time mode where players “can hit event milestones with music tracks.” Top Free Fire plays in the background” and new Rush Akimbo Hour Mode, where players can find the Akimbo Activator item – granting anyone who finds it the ability to double-hit. Players who complete certain milestones in this mode can win a new skin for the penguin pet in the Mr. Wagger.
The collaboration between Garena Free Fire and BTS Gen FF will continue into April, culminating in a grand final event for which details are yet to be announced. The game is available for download on both iOS and Android devices.
