Caraway Cookware Set: Honest Review
Appearance + first impression
Let’s be clear — these pots are really beautiful. Caraway cookware is truly stunning in person as well as on your social media feeds. Even the packaging of the shipped set looks luxurious and well thought out. Each pot and pan is carefully stored in a cardboard slot and delivered in pristine condition. And had zero involved plastic, so disposing of it was as easy as breaking the cardboard and putting it in my recycling bin.
And then there’s color. Caraway cookware is loved for its stylish, double-decorative color options—warm “perracotta” and mustard are consistent bestsellers. I opted for the brand’s original gray, which sounds old-fashioned, but trust me there’s nothing out of the ordinary about this chic shade. Cream gray is a stylish upgrade from my old pots and pans and instantly modernizes the look of my old kitchen.
Thanks to the matching lid arranger and the magnetic pot holder, it’s a dream for small spaces. My closet is a bit short to hang fabric hangers as intended, but I did Not was about to get disorganized, so I used a command strip to make it fit instead. Now, my days of tirelessly searching for lost pot lids are over and I couldn’t be happier.
It’s *really* not sticky
After using the Caraway Cookware Set continuously for 2 months straight, I can say with confidence that the porcelain coating meets its non-stick claim. My husband says making eggs in a frying pan is a “real dream” and he is absolutely right. We’ve made pasta sauces from scratch, vegetable stir-fries, grilled chicken, and more in the skillet, and the smooth, non-stick surface ensures that all the flavors are in your dishes in the right places. they belong, not stick to the bottom of the pan. Sauce pans are my go-to for cooking large batches of rice and I haven’t had to pry a layer of crispy rice off the surface of the pot, which is a pretty big deal.
Two months have passed and the coating is still solid. According to Caraway shoppers, the best way to preserve the non-stick coating of cookware is to avoid exploding the pan over high heat, instead, increase the heat slowly — and this tip worked for me. hitherto. And of course, never use metal utensils while cooking.
It distributes heat evenly for optimal cooking
Unlike the warped, uneven bottoms of my old pots and pans, the thick, y-weight texture of the Caraway cookware helps keep and distribute heat evenly, for efficient cooking. more efficient and consistent. We can sauté gyoza, sauté steak, or grill salmon fillets in less time without ever having to rearrange food to reach the pan’s “hot spot”. Every square inch of the pan feels the heat, which has given me more confidence in the kitchen—and saved a couple of chicken breasts from being cut prematurely in the pan (my dubious technique for measuring “cookedness”) of them).
I admit I haven’t tried using my cookware in the oven yet, but reviewers say that Caraway pots and pans do a good job in it, too. “The pan works great on the stovetop and in the oven,” one Caraway customer assured in a 5-star review. Others swear by it for making single-pan bread, meatloaf, sourdough bread, and other meals that require oven-safe plates. Guess that will be my next test…
Quick + easy cleanup
Everyone says that Caraway cookware is easy to clean, but I didn’t expect them to be this easy to clean. Thanks to that ceramic non-stick coating, food stains are washed away without much effort and really saved me a lot of time where I previously had to bend over the kitchen sink to remove bits of food. clumped with a Brillo pad. To get my pans back to their original shine, all I needed was a soft sponge, warm water, and some dish soap. Caraway recommends letting your cookware cool completely before cleaning to best preserve the non-stick coating.
While that often makes crumbs of food even harder to clean with my old pots and pans, it’s actually just as easy to clean them once the pan has cooled down. More than 1,200 Caraway shoppers agree that cleaning has never been more pleasurable than with Caraway cookware. One customer wrote in a 5-star review: “I love how cleanup takes less than a minute given how quickly food slides out of the pan. “These are pans that are really easy to clean!” someone else wrote. “They don’t need to be soaked and can be cleaned and put away very quickly. Truly a game changer!”
After two months of consistent use, it became clear that the Caraway Cookware Set was more than just a nice set of pots and pans. They highlight your favorite dishes with their superior heat conductivity and non-stick surface while keeping busy housewives like me (whose deliveries are always tempting) in mind. Top. Their convenient, aesthetic, and simple storage accessories make using my kitchen so much more enjoyable—so much so that I will continue to choose to cook at home with my Caraway pans. instead of ordering.
So yes, the durable cookware set is totally worth it and I never intend to use any other. I recommend equipping your kitchen with a full set (currently 20% off the brand’s holiday sale.) You can get individual parts if you want to replace a pot or pan. single, but the full set is worth every penny. You will never want to cook with anything else.
