Comedian Raju Srivastav dies aged 58 in Delhi

The nation mourns the death of Raju Srivastav who passed away earlier today. The 58-year-old comedian’s family has confirmed his death. The vetheran comedian has been admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on August 10. He developed acute chest pain after collapsing while exercising at a gym. The fitness trainer rushed him to the hospital so that he could be given CPR immediately. He underwent an angioplasty the same day.

Comedian Raju Srivastav has died at the age of 58.

Due to his worsening condition, he was put on a ventilator but regained consciousness on September 1. He took his last breath today, September 21.

He is best known for his comedic performances in movies like Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya, Baazigar, and Bombay to Goa among others. He rose to fame after participating in the reality stand-up comedy show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge in 2005.

Raju Srivastav died in Delhi at the age of 58.
