Donald Trump is famous for appearing in court after having an inconvenient trial date!

We know Donald Trump unhappy about being prosecuted in New York. But on Tuesday, he was downright angry. We heard his little hand was completely shaking!

Past (and possibly future?) President Appears Over Launch in a Manhattan courtroom Tuesday morning as a judge set a 2024 trial date for the 76-year-old man. This was the notorious trial, as Perezcious readers will recall, in which Trump is facing criminal charges for allegedly paying “hush money” to a porn star Storm Daniels and others – but mainly their illegal cover-ups. On Tuesday morning, the New York state court judge Juan Mercan booked apprentice alum to cancel all his plans for the week starting March 25, 2024, because that’s when this trial takes place! Seems reasonable enough, doesn’t it? That is, like, ten months out. Plenty of time to prepare. He didn’t even have to be in prison the whole time. However, it’s right in the middle of the primary season in which Trump will probably go head-to-head with the governor of Florida Ron DeSantis for the GOP nomination.

Trump is NOT happy with Judge Mercan’s ruling! MSNBC reported that he waved his hand as if to say NO when asked to delete his calendar the week of the trial. Each DailyMail.com, the former President “scowled at the camera” when he heard the judge ordered a date. The newspaper reported that Trump was “apparently irritated” in the midst of the powerful ruling, and then raged again after Judge Mercan issued a protective order for the case.

Now, this protection order is Are not a full gag order. Trump was allowed to talk about the incident in the media and during the campaign; he just couldn’t share any of the pre-trial evidence his defense team obtained with the public. That seems like another perfectly reasonable and simple request, but Trump was VERY crazy about it!! As we know from E. Jean Carroll case, he prefers to hear his case on social media – and makes no excuses in court.

Apart from Trump’s scowl (not his face always looks like that?), New York lawyer Todd Blanche did his best to get Judge Mercan to change his mind. Speaking recorded over that Zoom call, Blanche said of her client:

“President Trump is running for President of the United States and is a leading candidate. He is very concerned that his First Amendment rights are being violated.”

Judge Mercan dismissed that, saying the court’s request was “certainly not a gag order.” The judge also confirmed that Trump is free to run for President, campaign as usual and continue his business as long as he does not violate the provisions of the law. very special the terms of the order of protection in this case:

“It’s certainly not a gag order and I have no intention of hindering Mr. Trump’s campaign for president. He is free to move. He is free to do whatever does not violate the terms of this protective order.”

“Just had a trial by the Supreme Court for the District of New York, where I believe my First Amendment, ‘Freedom of Speech’, was violated and they forced us to have a trial date. on March 25, right in the middle of the Elementary season. Very unfair, but this is exactly what the Radical Democrats want. It’s called ELECTION INTERVENTION, and this has never happened in our Country before!!!”

He’s actually being forced to face legal consequences for his actions once, and suddenly it’s “election interference.” Here’s the problem, though – ANY trial date he gets will be in the middle of some aspect of the campaign. What do you know? Facing criminal charges is extremely inconvenient for a presidential candidate! One more reason why people facing multiple criminal investigations might NOT RUN THE PRESIDENT!

But no matter how many Truth Social posts appear, Judge Mercan’s March 25, 2024 is certain. Deal with it, Donald!
