Don’t expect the PC version of Final Fantasy 16 any time soon
Ever since Final Fantasy XVI was revealed, players have been asking about a potential PC version of the game, especially since the PlayStation 5 exclusive reveal comes with a six-month deadline. Some potential players have suggested that when that window opens, the PC version of FFXVI will be released.
During a trip to Square Enix’s office in Tokyo, Japan, I asked producer Naoki Yoshida about a PC version of the game. While it looks like it’s a work in progress, he emphasized that it will be more than six months before players see or even hear about it. I guess he’s referring to six months because of the aforementioned exclusivity period, but he reiterates that expiring doesn’t mean the PC version of FFXVI will be out at that time or any time. early.
So now, and probably quite a while after the game is released, if you want to play FFXVI, you’ll need a PlayStation 5.
