Don’t Worry, Darling Videographer Of Florence Pugh & Olivia Wilde’s Feud: ‘Whatever Happened, It Happened The Way After I Left’

Cinematographer from Don’t worry, baby wanted to reassure everyone that there was absolutely nothing to worry about when it came to the chaotic rumors behind the scenes… somehow!

By now, we’re sure everyone has heard of the psychological thriller. The film has been controversial for a while – from rumors of tension between wilderness and Florence Pugh to the spitting incident between Harry Styles and Chris Pine. (FYI, Harry didn’t spit on Chris.) Then there’s the messy situation as to whether or not the 38-year-old filmmaker will fire. Shia LaBeouf from production due to his behavior on set. It was a LOT, to say the least.

For her part, Olivia is trying to quell the whispers about the movie. The Smart book the director even praised Florence in Venice Film Festival after the Marvel star was late and missed the press conference:

“Florence is a force, we are grateful that she was able to show up tonight despite being in production. For all the tabloid rumors and endless noise out there, the internet provides for itself. I don’t feel like I need to contribute to it.”

Now, cinematographer Matthew Libatique is trying to shut down the movie (again), saying it is “totally untrue” – at least based on what he witnessed on set. 54 years old full of life in the latest episode of The Hollywood Reporter‘S Behind the screen audio file:

“This is probably the most harmonious series I have ever been in. Olivia has built a team that believes in her and she believes in every single person and every person on set… When I heard that there were rumors of harshness on set – I denied it. Honestly, it’s not clear at all. From my point of view, the stories are completely unreal when put on set.”

Sure, Jan! But if anything happens between Florence and Olivia, Matthew says it must happen after he wraps up the project:

“I can’t speak to post-production. Whatever happened, it happened the way after I left… I never witnessed anything. And I don’t feel anything. You know, you have the feeling that maybe something is going on and I don’t feel anything.”

Hmm…

Was it Matthew’s stance to buy that nothing happened on set? Drop your thoughts on this situation in the comments section below! You can also listen to the full interview podcast HERE.
