Everything We Know About D&D’s Deck of Many Things Source Book
IGN was recently given an early look at Deck of many things, a collection that includes two books and a card pack for Dungeons & Dragons that will focus on the almighty artifact that has appeared in many previous D&D books and video games. Here’s everything we know so far:

Deck of many things is a set of two books and an expanded deck of cards based on magical artifacts found elsewhere in D&D. The deck itself contains 66 cards, 22 of which were found in the original version plus 44 new cards. Book of many thingsa resource book that provides options for incorporating decks into your campaigns and Card Reference Guide teach how to use cards.

The deck itself consists of fully illustrated cards without any kind of description, intended only to represent the cards as they might appear in the D&D universe. 22 cards from the original deck return with 44 new choices.

This accompanying 192-page book “illustrates the mysteries of the deck and provides everything players and Dungeon Masters need to use it in-game.” This includes deck usage advice, adventure locations, new monsters, character options, magic items, and organization, all inspired by the iconic deck.
Card Reference Guide
This 80-page guidebook shows how to use the cards as a traditional oracle deck or to create card-inspired D&D adventures. In such a mode, the deck can be used to randomly generate adventures by placing cards and “reading” them in a divination-like fashion.
