Hayden Panettiere is sharing more about arranging custody of her only child.
In a new episode of Red tablePanettiere has revealed his “very upsetting” experience ceding custody of his seven-year-old daughter with ex-lover Wladmir Klitschko to him.
Panettiere previously said she was struggling with substance abuse at the time of her decision in 2018 and that the issue was not being “discussed”.

“If [Klitschko] came up to me and said that I think because of where you are right now and the struggles you’re having, it would be good for her to stay here with me for a while – which if I can get enough conversation I would say OK, that makes sense, I get it, I’ll visit there. “

Panettiere said the papers gave Klitschko – a former Ukrainian boxer – full custody of their daughter.

“It was the worst signing of those papers, the most heartbreaking thing I’ve ever had to do in my life,” she recalls in the episode. “I would work on my own, I would get better, and when I was better things would change and she could come to me and I could have had time with her but that didn’t happen. out.”
Panettiere added, “It was the hardest thing I could do. But the best thing for my daughter was making sure she was okay, taking care of herself and making sure I could be a good mother to her. child. And sometimes that means letting go.”
