How to Catch and Evolve Eevee in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Unlike previous games in Pokémon main line, scarlet and Violet has made the fan-favorite Eevee rather elusive. Only appearing in a small number of regions and with a very low spawn rate, trying to evolve the Eeveelutions eight has never been more difficult. But this weekend, the games’ First Tera Raid Battle Event would make catching the blighter a lot easier.
Any other time, if you want an Eevee, you’ll need to go to Area 3 of the Western Province, Area 2 of the Southern Province, or the path to the Pokémon tournament. But this weekend after Thanksgiving, it was announced that the Tera Raid Battle Event will feature Eevee Spotlight.
Taking place today, Friday the 25th, from 11am to Monday 28th at 10:59am, Eevee will be more likely to appear in Tera Raid Battles—those triggered by continuing Near large luminous crystals shoot huge beams of light into the sky . That means not only will Eevees be easier to find, but you’ll also have the chance to collect a bunch of them with different Tera Types — meaning they’ll go from Normal Type to any of the other 19.

There is a small warning, but not an important one. In order for the Raid Battle Event to trigger in your game, you need to have your Switch connected to the internet long enough to download the latest “Poké Portal News”, which will automatically download if you are already online. And no, that has nothing to do with a paid online Switch subscription, so don’t worry about it. All free.
With an Eevee under your belt, you’ll probably want to start thinking about evolving them into eight different forms. (All my hopes for a ninth Paldean Eevee seem to have gone up in smoke.) Here are some helpful hints for getting all eight eevees:
flares: Give your Eevee a flint.
Glaceon: Give your Eevee an ice cube.
Jolteon: Give your Eevee a Thunder Stone.
leaves: Give your Eevee a Leaf Stone.
steam: Give your Eevee a water stone.
especially: You need your Eevee to be on a high friendship level, make sure it doesn’t know any Fairy moves, then let it evolve during the day.
Umbreon: Again, a beautiful friendship, don’t let it learn any fairy moves, it will evolve at night.
Sylveon: Again, the friendship level is high, but this time make sure it do know a move of the Fairy, then practice it day or night.
Combined with Tera types from the Battle of Tera, this will get extremely complicated! Good luck!
