The study explains that 58% of online entrepreneurs spent at least £500 setting up their new venture.

Around 15% of internet sellers have spent less than £1,000 to launch their side business, showing that small investments can generate big returns.

Most of this money is used to perfect their website, but it seems business owners are spending a lot to get a quick change.

According to research, 48% of entrepreneurs say their online presence takes just a few days to set up, while some claim it takes less than four hours.

The process is made even easier, as budding business tycoons can rely on artificial intelligence tools to help them.

The speed and simplicity of the part-time job, as well as the potentially huge financial rewards, has made 70% of sellers willing to make it their main source of income.

The study also found that the average age of Britons taking up a part-time job is 32, while one in nine people started a business before the age of 18.
