A TREE surgeon claims he earns up to £1,200 an hour trimming stumps with a grinder – but many people don’t take him seriously.
The TikTok influencer, known as ‘chainsawman_tk’, has social media apps to show his followers the complicated process – with one user calling the job “easy money”.

The short clip shows that workers cut a root at lightning speed with the help of a stump grinder.
He added the caption: “Earn $250 (£202) [in] less than 10 minutes[s].”
The influencers regularly entertains his 50,000 followers with his tree-cutting skills, but he also shoots more lighthearted clips including ax throwing and assembling his hilarious photo montages job.
However, not everyone is impressed with the tree cutter’s technique.
In another tree-cutting clip, one person said: “I’ve been working 25 hours a day for 35 years.
“You’ve never seen a really cut face before.”
Another joined in: “Oh no, how to cut down a sapling experienced.”
However, others rushed to protect the worker.
One said: “Good job, I’ve been working for tree service since I was 14 years old and it’s done very well”.
A second man chimed in: “Good job, you guys here don’t know anything about planting.”
