Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will balance that footstep sound before the official launch.
“While sentiment around footstep sounds is more positive during Beta Weekend Two, we’ve seen your continued feedback on footstep volume and will continue to balance out enemy/friendly footsteps. prior to launch,” it confirmed.
Also, it looks like enemy vision will be balanced as well.
“Enemy Visibility was something that was present throughout both weekends of our Beta,” Infinity Ward said. “While many people commented on the improvement in Weekend Two, we will be looking to increase enemy visibility to allow for better tracking of enemy visuals than just traditional nameplates. “
Absolutely what this means for the final match remains to be seen. But footstep sound and enemy visibility aren’t the only issues to be resolved before the game launches on October 28, 2022.
It said: “Dissolution of corridors is another topic we addressed during Beta. “We feel this is an important feature and are actively looking for potential solutions to roll out.”
Infinity Ward also says it’s “happy” with the results of the weapon tweaks during the first open beta weekend, but further changes are still underway.
