Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were married in a chapel driving through Las Vegas.
Lopez announced their marriage Sunday in her fan newsletter, titled “We Made It.”
“Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patience. Twenty years of patience,” Lopez wrote in a message signed by Jennifer Lynn Affleck.
The famous Nevada power couple’s wedding was the culmination of a relationship that has spanned more than two decades in two separate loves and has made countless tabloid covers.
The ceremony – conducted in classic Vegas style – to three months after the couple confirmed their engagement and 18 years after they broke off their engagement.
In her “On the J Lo” newsletter, Lopez wrote that the couple flew to Las Vegas on Saturday and stood in line for the permit along with four other couples.
They then arrive at the Little White Chapel after midnight, where the “tunnel of love” is located.
Lopez called it the best night of their lives.
She added: “Stick around long enough and maybe you’ll find the best moment of your life driving through Las Vegas at 12:30am in the tunnel of love that passes through with your kids and loved ones. you will see. spend forever with.”
Lopez and Affleck’s affair began in July 2002, and they became engaged a few months later in November.
They were married in September 2003 but called off the wedding just days before the ceremony and annulled their engagement in January 2004.
Affleck was previously married to actress Jennifer Garner but they divorced in 2018 after 13 years of marriage.
