Jerry Seinfeld’s tribute to on-screen mother Liz Sheridan after her death
Jerry Seinfeld shared a heartfelt tribute to him Seinfeld co-star Liz Sheridan after her death at the age of 93.
Sheridan, who is known as Seinfeld’s Helen’s mother in the classic sitcom, die on fridaySeinfeld himself will Twitter to share my respect.
In an emotional post, the actor wrote: “Liz has always been the sweetest, most beautiful TV mom a son could wish for. Every time she joins our show, it’s a feeling warmest feeling for me. I’m so lucky to know her.”

The comedian shared a black and white photo of the two smiling on the set of the sitcom.
Seinfeld’s post drew a lot of attention from fans of the show, who commented to offer their condolences.
Born in 1929, Sheridan started out as a nightclub actor, earning a living by dancing and playing in both New York City and Caribbean clubs.

During her time as a nightclub actress, she had a romantic relationship with James Dean before rising to fame and would write about their relationship in her memoir. Dizzy & Jimmy, published in 2000.
Sheridan first appeared in the second episode of Seinfeld in 1990. She was the only actress, aside from the four core protagonists, to appear in all nine seasons.

She made 21 appearances in the series, opposite Barney Martin, who played Jerry’s father, Morty. Sheridan describes Helen as a voice of reason compared to the more neurotic Jerry and Morty, although one who is always overly protective of her only son.
After Seinfeld Towards the end, Sheridan regularly performed the stage show for one woman, Mrs. Seinfeld Sings.
