If this is a sign of things to come, this war of words will probably never end.
in Monday amber heard chose to end his appeal about Johnny Depp defamation judgment. In a new settlement, she agrees to pay her ex-husband $1 million (or at least her insurance company will pay that amount) instead of what she previously owed. If you recall, she was asked to pay him a total of $10.35 million, he was ordered to pay her $2 million. So she owes him a whopping $8.35 million! So this is quite a discount.
Depp’s team said in their initial statement that it was “never about money” but “the rigorous pursuit of justice.” But in a second statement, they are getting much more shady towards Amber. lawyer Camille Vasquez and Benjamin Chew said in a statement obtained by Diversity:
“We are delighted to officially close this painful chapter for Mr. Depp, who has made it clear throughout the process that his priority is to bring the truth to light. The unanimous decision of the jury and the ruling in Mr Depp’s favor against Ms Heard remain in full force. The $1 million payment – which Mr Depp is pledging and will (actually) donate to charities – reinforces Ms. Heard’s acknowledgment of the conclusion of the strict legal system’s pursuit of justice. physical.”
Did you catch it? Because they dropped it pretty hard!

YES. That “real” one is doing some hard work there! They’re blaming Amber for never giving those $7 million to American Civil Liberties Union and Children’s Hospital LA after divorce!

One of the hottest moments in the defamation trial was when Camille Vasquez struck with a hammer aquatic star on the grounds of having “committed” to raising money – but never actually completed it. She brought the receipt and made it clear that Amber was at best fooling the world about it. Taking the act of donating money to charity ostensibly to show that she doesn’t care about the money… the fact that she didn’t (actually) donated the money might have changed perhaps. a lot of awareness of her reliability.
The fact that Vasquez chose to tease Amber one last time about it – on behalf of Johnny, of course – says a lot!
Amber herself made it clear in her statement that the lower amount she paid was not a deal for her to keep quiet, stating:
“There are no restrictions or jokes on my voice going forward… I will not be intimidated, discouraged, or discouraged by what happened when I speak the truth.”
So we wouldn’t be surprised if she eventually comes back. As we said, the case can be resolved according to the law… but before the court of public opinion, this battle may never end.
