The defamation trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard is all we’ve heard about for months. From the long days of going live in court to the incredible confessions, everyone has an opinion – A LOT of people are on Johnny’s side! After the jury made a unanimous decision that Amber was guilty of defamation and ordered her to pay Johnny $10.35 million, it looks like he’s turned himself in!
However, a new survey shows that most people are really thinking less than afterward But the pirate of the Caribbean star after test! In a recent Morning consultation Opinion polls, especially Depp’s favorite are measured against the public.
The poll yielded shocking results, showing that Johnny’s popularity has really disappeared DOWN since his big win – with a substantial amount of money! The six-week trial collected data from more than 2,000 Americans, each from different generational groups. The data broke down his percentage of favorites from April when the trial begins to June when the verdict is out:
- Generation Z only 2 points off, from 70% preference down 68%
- Millennials there is a slightly larger drop in opinion, stemming from 78% arrive 72%
- Generation X 10 points off, from 68% arrive 58%
- Baby Boomers the biggest drop, their Johnny Depp liking dropped from 59% arrive 37%
He lost popularity in EVERY group! Among all the generationsAmerica’s popularity for the actor has dropped 68% arrive 56%. OH!
Now we need a poll with topic Heard – did her popularity drop after the test? Maybe she gained some along the way? Obviously this test didn’t paint either of them in the best light…
