JoJo Siwa and Avery Cyrus‘ relationship ended after only three months of dating!
The TikTok personality announced their split on the social media platform on Saturday. Avery shared footage from a vacation on Royal Caribbean journey, where JoJo can be seen telling the 22-year-old content creator while holding the video game prize:
“This is ‘sorry for breaking up with your current friend.’”
The comment immediately caused people to flock to the comments section, questioning what happened between them to abruptly end the relationship. In fact, one fan commented on the clip:
“Now I just want to know why.”

Avery replied:
“We decided that we’d better be friends! We’re both too young and still trying to figure our stuff out.”

JoJo has not addressed the split on social media at this time. As you may know, JoJo and Avery first dated in August right after the 19-year-old singer ended her relationship with Kylie Prew Again. It all started when the pair could previously be seen in a TikTok video saying the words to pronounce words Scott is sick and Kourtney kardashianwith JoJo’s first quote:
“We are friends.”
Then Avery jumps in:
“Absolutely pure.”
They then continued to appear in each other’s social media posts and leave flirtatious comments for weeks before going public. In September, JoJo and Avery shared a video of them kissing for a while Chuck E. cheese photo booth, and then the two made their red carpet debut for the opening night of jagged little pill music at Theater Pantages in Los Angeles. A month later, the duo explained that while seeing each other, they had been waiting to label the relationship. The Dancing mom alum said in a YouTube videotapes:
“Both of us really just want to have fun and take the time to achieve the girlfriend title. We just want to take our time.
