Kurt Angle says current WWE star is ‘one of the best’

Kurt Angle has given his honest opinion on Brock Lesnar’s abilities as a performer on the WWE ring.

The two men were involved in one of WWE’s most famous feuds back in 2003. The plot includes the infamous WrestleMania 19 moment when Lesnar defeated Angle shortly after him. failed a Shooting Star Press.

Speaking on “Two Strong Men’s Wrestling Trip” podcast, the Olympic gold medalist has only good things to say about his old rival in the ring.

“He was one of the best workers in the business,” Angle said. “Very light, he knows how to walk. He knows psychology. Boy, he picks it up really fast and he’s really talented. Very mature for his age back then because he just looked like 22 years old when he started in WWE. He always has it. He is a great talent. One of the best.” [3:36-4:00]


Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle have faced each other in four televised WWE singles matches, with both winning twice. The Beast Incarnate won 5-4 in a 60-minute Iron Man match on the September 18, 2003 episode of SmackDown, becoming their last televised one-on-one competition in WWE.
