Lana Del Rey takes revenge on ex-boyfriend with shady billboard: ‘It’s personal’
Lana Del Rey shared a photo on her personal Instagram account revealing the only billboard she put up to promote her new album.
Summertime singer Sadness, 37, announced this month that she will be releasing a new album. Did you know that there is a tunnel under Ocean Blvd in March 2023. However, the advertisement for it seems to be layered with messaging.
“Only one and it’s in Tulsa,” Del Rey captioned a photo of the billboard on her personal Instagram page. Tulsa is the hometown of her ex-boyfriend, Sean Larkin.

“It is. Personal,” she added in the comments, along with a skull emoji.
Screenshots of the post are going viral on Twitter, with many fans noting that Del Rey dropped the album’s title track and announced the album on Larkin’s birthday, which is December 7.
“Icon if you ask me,” one fan named the post.
“Lana Del Rey just put up a billboard for her album in her ex-boyfriend’s city and then posted about it, Lana Del Rey sucks,” another joked.
Del Rey and Larkin, 49, started dating in 2019 but split in March 2020 after six months of dating. Larkin is also a father, with two children.
The pair are said to have split due to “busy schedules” and have spent most of their relationship moving between Del Rey’s base in Los Angeles and Larkin’s in Tulsa, where he is a police sergeant.

In a recent interview for W MagazineDel Rey told former Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele that her new album depicts her emotions more raw than previous albums.
“In Honeymoon, there’s a lot of color references,” she explains. “For this new music, there’s no such thing. It’s like: ‘I’m angry’.”
“For the first song, I hit record and sang, ‘As I look back, tracing my fingertips over the plastic bag, I think I wish I could extrapolate some small intention or be able to record it. get your attention for a minute or two,'” she revealed.
“It’s a very wordy album. So there’s no room for color. It’s almost like I’m typing in my mind,” she added.
