Actress Lisa Loring, who is best known for her role as the original fourth Addams in the ’60s television series The Addams . familypassed away at the age of 64.
A close friend of Loring’s, Laurie Jacobson shared in a Facebook post that the actress was removed from life support after “a major stroke.”
“It is with great sadness that I announce the death of our friend, Lisa Loring,” the post shared on January 28, began. “Four days ago, she had a major stroke caused by smoking and high blood pressure.

“She was on life support for 3 days. Yesterday her family made the difficult decision to have it removed and she passed away last night.
“She’s tied to the pop culture tapestry and will always be in our hearts as Wednesday Addams. Beautiful, kind, and a loving mother, Lisa’s legacy in the entertainment world is immense. .
“And the legacy to her family and friends – loads of humor, affection and love will live long in our memories. RIP, Lisa. Damn, girl.. You are so interesting.”

Loring only played the role of Wednesday Addams for two years but left an impression on audiences and influenced many later versions of the character.
Loring was born in 1958 and started modeling at the age of 3. Her first television appearance was in 1964, in an episode of the NBC medical drama series. Dr. Kildare.

After the first part of the film, Loring took on several other roles as a child star, but her career soon stalled.
At the age of 15, she married her childhood sweetheart Farrell Foumberg. The following year, she had her first child.
Tragically, that same year, her mother Judith died of chronic alcoholism. She is only 34.
After that, she took on roles in shows Halloween with the new Addams family, fantasy island and Barnaby Jones.
