Long-term USD bets by speculators fall to lowest level in more than 1 year -CFTC, Reuters According to Reuters

NEW YORK (Reuters) – Speculators net long bets on the US dollar fell in the latest week to their lowest position in more than a year, according to Reuters calculations and Commodity Trading Commission data US futures announced on Monday.
The value of the net long position in dollars was $2.36 billion for the week ending November 8, compared with a net long position of $3.08 billion in the previous week.
The US dollar positioning is derived from the net contracts of speculators on the International Money Market in the Japanese yen, euro, British pound, Swiss franc, Canadian and Australian dollar.
CFTC data on Monday also showed net long euro contracts rose in the latest week to 107,599 contracts, the highest since June 2021, up from 105,790 contracts the previous week.
The Japanese yen net short position fell in the latest week to 75,258 contracts, down from 77,620 contracts.
