Lottie added, “(we still haven’t really been in a relationship, which is something I never really said)…. As Kate Moss’s sister, I was immediately attracted to her. and I always felt like I was living in her shadow.”
The couple has a 24 year age gap.
Lottie, who signed with a modeling agency at the age of 14, revealed that it was difficult for her to get into the industry when her older sister was already such a star.
“Back then, I was attacked by people who kept asking me about my sister – I went to my friends house and would have her picture on the wall – and that really caused a lot of abandonment problems.” , she admitted.

Lottie added that it was especially “difficult” because her sister gave her no advice or guidance when she started.
“It’s tough when you have someone ‘close’ in the same job as you, who’s already very prominent in the industry, but doesn’t have any advice or guidance,” she wrote.
Interestingly, Lottie and Kate also had a similar experience when they were “discovered” and recruited as models.
Both were signed to companies at the age of 14, Kate was signed to Storm Management in 1988.

Similar to her older sister, Lottie has opened up about the negative experiences she has had while modeling, especially during photo shoots.
“Sometimes there are good times too, but most of the time, it’s a very dark place,” she said. “I was forced to work for brands that I didn’t want to work for because the money was too ‘bargain’. I wanted to cry when the clothes didn’t fit in the photo shoot because I’m not the model size.
“I would cry on set when I felt so uncomfortable, and they would put my makeup back on.”
Interestingly, Lottie’s latest post echoes a lot of what Kate has said over the years about her own experiences as a young model.
Just this year, Kate recalls horrible topless photo shoot she finally dropped out when she was 15 years old.
”He said, ‘Take off your shirt’ and I take it off,” said the British supermodel, recalling a past photographer’s behavior on BBC Radio 4’s desert island disk.
“I was really embarrassed about my body then and he said, ‘Take off my bra.’ I felt something was wrong. I grabbed my things and ran away. I could see the mistake’ go a mile’.”
Kate revealed that moment, along with many others, was one of the reasons she decided to represent young models, to be able to give them the support and protection they need. in the industry.
