Louisville hires Jeff Brohm as head football coach
Louisville has hired Jeff Brohm as the next head coach for the football program. Brohm, 51, a native of Louisville and an alumnus of the Trinity and Louisville football programs, returned home to coach the Cardinals after leading Purdue for the past six seasons.
Brohm led the team’s side to an overall record of 36-34 during his time there, finishing with a win percentage of 0.514. Purdue finished 8-5 this past season, heading into the Big Ten Championship match against Michigan.
The search for a new coach lasted about two to three days, after head coach Scott Satterfield announced that he was going to Cincinnati.
Louisville fans will be eager to see which members of the historic 2023 recruit will stay with Brohm. Official announcements shouldn’t be too far off, as the signing period will begin in about a week and a half.
