Marvel Snap main update fixes Pool 3 Climb, adds many new cards

a new one Marvel Snap The update added a bunch of new cards plus a new way to earn them.

An update called The Power Cosmic will add several new cards including Thanos, She-Hulk and Galactus… and perhaps most importantly, introduce Collector’s Tokens.

“We plan to patch it at 3pm Pacific today!” speak Marvel Snap Creator Ben Brode. “Once you log into the new patch, the game will review your Collection Level and issue you a Collector Token. Have fun! Can’t wait to see what new deck you’ll build!”

Collector’s Tokens is a brand new mechanism Candlestick makes it a little easier to get the finishing touches to your newest deck.

The idea is simple – players are rewarded with Collector Tokens by increasing their Collector Level and these can be used in the Store to buy new cards. It’s basically a new currency, a neat way to pick up a card or two to complete your latest deck.

The amount of Collector’s Token you get is based on your Collector level:

  • 500-999: 3000 Coins
  • 1000-2999: 6000 Coins
  • Over 3000: 12,000 Tokens

You can then use those tokens for any tokens that appear in the New Tokens store. Group 3 cards will cost 1000 tokens, Group 4 cards will cost 3000 tokens and Group 5 tokens will cost 6000 tokens.

The best part? It should make climbing Pool 3 a little easier.

Marvel Snap sees players go through several groups of cards available with Group 3 being by far the most diverse, consisting of a total of 74 cards. The combinations are almost endless… but it can be a completely daunting prospect for those players, like me, who just got out of Group 2.

And with the addition of a large number of cards in Group 4, that will only get worse.

New additions include Luke Cage, Absorbing Man, She-Hulk, Titania, Maria Hill, Agent Coulson, HeliCarrier, M’Baku, Attuma, Orka, Bast, Shuri, Thanos, Galactus, Valkyrie, Super Skrull, and Silver Surfer .

Unfortunately, the patch also brings some nerfs. Angela is now 2/0 instead of 2/1 while Mysterio is now 2/4 instead of 2/5. Sera is now 5/4 instead of 5/5 and Onslaught’s impressive ability is now stacking instead of exponential.

Could be a bad day for the Kazoo deck. But Collector’s Tokens will definitely remove the bad luck when it comes to leveling up.
