A mother has died after eating “poisonous” chocolate sent by a mysterious person as a birthday present.

The woman is believed to have been poisoned after receiving a gift from an unknown sender on her birthday.

She is said to have received a phone call last Saturday telling her that a mysterious delivery had been left in her name.

This alone was enough to make Carvalho suspicious, so she asked to leave the package at her boyfriend’s store.

The victim brought chocolate to a beauty beauty salon but refuses to eat the dishes until she confirms the sender, reports Daily Star.

When Carvalho’s ex-husband, 54, admitted to sending the surprise gift, she started eating chocolates.

Lenice recalled the woman feeling sick, her eyes rolling back and her body convulsing.

Carvalho was pronounced dead when she arrived at the hospital following the horrific reaction.

It is also reported that the woman’s son also tried the chocolate but spat it out due to the odd taste.

He was unharmed after the incident.

But Carvalho’s ex-husband later insisted he was joking when he told the victim he was responsible for the gift after her death.

Police are currently investigating allegations that Carvalho’s ex-boyfriend is responsible for the crime. UOL . report.

The woman’s family is said to have filed a complaint with police about the woman’s possible involvement in the crime as Carvalho was sent aggressive text messages by the suspect a few days before the incident. .

Lucas Bernandes, 26, a delivery driver who dropped a package for Carvalho on her birthday, recalls recognizing the suspect’s young son as the one who ordered the delivery.

In a statement to police, he said he was threatened and feared for his life.

“She [Carvalho] received a text saying that they wanted her head, that she would die of choking on her own blood…She [the ex] let her step-son give the bonbon to the motoboy, because she knows that if something goes wrong, the boy won’t be arrested because he’s under 18,” she told O Globo.
