Naughty Dog points to a bigger future for its PC games


Naughty Dog said that the release Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection on PC is a “turning point” for the studio, indicating a greater focus on the platform going forward.

While this doesn’t guarantee that every new Naughty Dog game will eventually be released on PC in the future, it does seem more likely. Sony itself is also doubling down on its expansion to the platform by set up a new PlayStation PC label and buy expert porting PC Nixxes.

The company also recently said that, besides investing in first-party software, its other main strategy for growing the business is releasing its software on multiple platforms – and it is expected to make $300 million from PC games this financial year alone.

The appearance of Uncharted on PC is definitely important because it’s arguably PlayStation’s biggest franchiseebut other major first-party games include God of War and Spider-Man has also achieved great success.
