NBA: Clippers overtake Cam Thomas, Nets

Kawhi Leonard took a three-point lead with 2:46 remaining as the Los Angeles Clippers finished their six-game run with a harrowing 124-116 win over the Brooklyn Nets on Monday night in New York.

Los Angeles took an 11-point lead second in the third inning and then lost their six-point advantage before ending the game 15-3 in the final 3:29.

Leonard, who scored 24 points, put the Clippers ahead with a time remaining of 2:46 when he hit three points past Cam Thomas from the left to take a 114-113 lead.
