NBA: Jordan Poole, Short Sleeve Warriors Still Beat Grizzlies In Playoff Rematch

Jordan Poole scored the team’s top 32 before being eliminated and Golden State was short of a 123-109 fouled Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday in San Francisco in the much-anticipated rematch of the semifinals. Western Conference.

Playing without Stephen Curry and Andrew Wiggins, the Warriors still beat the Grizzlies 54-27 from three points on their way to their 13th home win in 15 attempts this season.

Ja Morant led all scorers with 36 points for Memphis, who played almost all night without Jaren Jackson Jr. (21 minutes) and Dillon Brooks (30 minutes), both of which fought each other.

Warriors won only for the third time in 10 games. The Grizzlies ended the nine-day trip with a score of 1-3.

Morant’s lane runner took down the Grizzlies in the 80-77 round with 4:52 remaining in the third inning before Ty Jerome led a surge in Golden State.

The two-way player, formerly of the Oklahoma City Thunder, scored rounds of 3 and 2 to extend the lead to 8 points, then hit teammate Jonathan Kuminga’s free throw with another 3-pointer to increase the score to 12 points.

As Poole ended the game 11-0 by scoring with 3:05 left in the meantime, the Warriors opened the game with a score of 91-77 and could go home.

Golden State prevailed despite six technical fouls, two of which sent Poole off the field.

The Grizzlies, the team that entered the game with the best record at the Western Conference, lost to the Warriors in a six-game playoff series in May after Morant sustained a knee injury in Game 3.

Jerome and two-way player Anthony Lamb contributed 14 and 11 points to the Warriors, respectively. Poole shot 11 to 25 on his way to the highest total score for his team. Klay Thompson had 24 points, Donte DiVincenzo contributed 19 and Draymond Green added 13 rebounds and 13 assists.

Green finished with just three points, while Moses Moody was the third Warrior to take home a double when coming on from the bench with 10 points.

DiVincenzo scored 5 to 9 when trying to 3 points, helping Golden State win 18 to 44 (40.9%), while Memphis struggled only 9 to 39 (23.1%).

Morant won 15 to 29 from the ring but only ate 2 to 10 from outside the arc. He also had time to rack up eight assists and seven rebounds.

Brooks and Tyus Jones each added 13 points and Jackson got 11 points for the Grizzlies. Steven Adams is the game’s top counter-attacker with 14.
