MIAMI – Phoenix Suns Guardian Devin Booker has been ruled out for at least four weeks with groin strainNBA team said Thursday.
The Suns said Booker’s left groin strain will be “reassessed in four weeks”.
Booker missed three Suns games before Christmas with a groin injury and when he returned on December 25 against the Denver Nuggets, he managed less than five minutes before entering the locker room.
In total, Booker has missed six of the Suns’ past nine games because of hamstring and groin problems.
Booker, three-time All Star champion, is averaging 27.1 points this season
The Suns have a 20-15 record and are currently fifth at the Western Conference.
