NBA: Suns’ Devin Booker absent with groin injury

Phoenix guard Devin Booker left the Suns Sunday road game against the Denver Nuggets in the first half with a left groin injury and was ruled out for the rest of the night.
Booker started the game after missing the previous three games because of a groin pain and played 4:20 before leaving the game. He scored two points. A short time later, the team announced that he would not be returning.

Booker entered Sunday with the team’s best average of 28 points and 5.8 assists in 28 games.
He had missed five of the previous seven games because of a groin injury and hamstring strain.
