Netflix to Release Norm Macdonald’s Comedy Special Filmed Before His Death – National
A Canadian icon and internationally beloved comedian Norm Macdonald has been deeply missed in the entertainment world since his death last year.
But Netflix has one final gift for Macdonald fans: an hour-long comedy special that self-reports with new material, shot before Macdonald’s death.
As confirmed in a Netflix press release, the performance stands Norm Macdonald: Nothing specialwhich he named, will be released on May 30.

Fans of Macdonald’s wit and wit will be able to watch Macdonald perform the special alone in his living room, just once.
The special was filmed in 2020 after COVID-19 restrictions shut down comedy clubs, theaters and performance venues. According to the press release, Macdonald still wants to film that special that he worked so hard to prepare.

“Norm has worked really hard on an hour of new material and wants it to be seen by everyone. The new comedy special will also include an additional feature film starring Adam Sandler, Conan O’Brien, Dave Chappelle, David Letterman, David Spade and Molly Shannon, who discuss Macdonald’s memory of life his life, legacy and friendship. Macdonald died in September 2021 after a long secret battle with cancer. He is 61 years old.
He is best known as the host of SNLThe “Weekend Update” segment. Macdonald stayed with SNL actor until 1998.
He is also well-liked for his stand-up performances and late-night talk show appearances, most notably for a 5-minute joke about Conan about a moth and a doctor.
