Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Update Adds Character Voices Today
Last October, after a surprising amount of hype, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Launching on all major platforms. While the game was well received, one major complaint arose from the lack of voiced characters, which made the entire game feel a bit dull and dead, especially compared to the competition. its competition. But now, a new update coming out today has added dialogue for the entire cast of animated superstars and usable items.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Is one Smash Bros.game-like fighting game featuring various cartoon characters from a variety of Nickelodeon shows, including SpongeBob, Avatar, Invader Zimand Dogs and cats. When it was announced, the mix of nostalgic fan favorites and memes got a lot of people excited. That excitement only increased when it became clear that the developers who created this game have trying to create a serious, polished argument—Complete with awesome network codes and, err, waving hand (whatever that is).
The feel of it somewhat cooled on release as it felt a bit flawed for some players. As mentioned, a major criticism is All-Star Brawllack of character voice. Consider some of these characters famous for their iconic voice and quote, it disappoints many people. Today’s update finally fixed that.

Our own Ian Walker enjoyed Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl last yearpointed out that while the game had some rough graphics and lacked character voices at the time, it was still able to find an audience of devoted fighting game fans and Smash Bros. Veterinarians.
While Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is far from perfect, that has never stopped a game from becoming possible in the league before. Just look at the original Super Smash Bros. I don’t know what got Nickelodeon to support the development of a competitive fighting game, but I’m happy Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl exists, especially since it has the potential to remove Nintendo’s hold on the genre.
As to why the voiced characters are not in the game, the developers have yet to answer Kotakuof requesting comment, but at launch it was said to be a matter of budget. Now that the game is out and has likely sold enough copies, perhaps the developers could have made more money to pay for all these actors. The timing of this new update is also interesting, as the game is one of three PS Plus games for Junethrough which it will be available starting tomorrow.
While the big news from this new update is the addition of voiceover characters, Ludosity also added new in-game battle items, also. Some of these newly added items include Krabby Patty from WORLDpongeBobword diary Lace & Stimpy, and Reptar from Rugrats.
