Nonito Donaire gives his best in ‘very interesting’ rematch vs Naoya Inoue

MANILA, Philippines — Nonito Donaire is elated and eager to move on after gaining weight on Monday ahead of his bantamweight unification rematch against undefeated Japanese Naoya Inoue.
Donaire weighed in at 117.8 pounds while Inoue weighed in at 118 pounds. The two will meet again at the Super Arena in Saitama, Japan on Tuesday.
“I feel good, I feel great. It’s going to be a great night and you can look forward to seeing the best of me,” said Donaire, who held the WBC belt and won the WBA (Super) and IBF belts of Inoue.
“I’m on fire and it’s going to be a very interesting fight,” he added.
Donaire (42-6, 28KOs) lost to Inoue (22-0, 19KOs) in a 12-round skate in their first match in 2019.
39 years old Donaire is very confident about ending Inoue’s unbeaten streak this time.
