NU Bulldogs auctions jerseys to help Joshua Retamar’s grandfather

MANILA, Philippines – The National University Bulldogs team donated their jerseys for auction to help Joshua Retamar’s ailing grandfather.
The UAAP Season 85 Finals MVP began auctioning off his jersey when NU overcame the recent men’s volleyball tournament to complete a historic ‘peat treble’. The starting price for his kits starts at Php 5,000,
Retamar is raising funds for the hospitalization of his grandfather, who is currently battling a variety of illnesses.
“I am knocking on your hearts to enter the auction we are holding to raise funds for my lolo hospitalization. He is currently fighting for his life and any amount of support will help cover his bills,” the staging star said.
“My teammates generously donated their jerseys to this auction, including my UAAP Season 85 jersey, the exact shirt I wore when we won the championship on the day May 14,” he added.

Besides the auction, the family of the creator is also accepting donations through Gcash.
Shirts from Michaelo Buddin, Nico Almendras, Ken Malinis and Louis Lumanlan will be auctioned.
Buddin currently has the highest bid of 10,000 Php, as of time of posting.
Taiwan MVP and champion Bryan Bagunas also auctioned off its Oita Miyoshi Japan V.League jersey with all proceeds going to Retamar and Kim Dayadante’s sister, who is battling Stage 3 cancer.
At the time of posting, the highest price for a Bagunas jersey is Php 50,000.
