Oscar 2023: RRR and Chhello Show among 4 Indian films shortlisted for Oscars
There has been a considerable amount of buzz surrounding SS Rajamouli’s RRR and Pan Nalin’s Chhello Show or Last Film Show ahead of the 2023 Oscars. When the Academy released the shortlist for 10 categories, India seemed to have it. a powerful performance. RRR and Chhello Show were shortlisted. The films were among the four shortlisted Indian titles.
While Chhello Show was on the shortlist for the Oscars for Best International Film, RRR received a nod for Naatu Naatu in the category of Best Music (Original Song). All That Breathes also made the shortlist for Best Documentary Feature while The Elephant Whispers was in the category of Best Documentary Short. The movies are one step closer to being nominated at the 2023 Oscars.

The official nominations for the 95th Academy Awards will be announced on January 24, 2023. The awards ceremony will be held on March 12, 2023 in Los Angeles.
