Traditional game ‘ Ghosts go abroad has been haunting our minds since it was confirmed to be on Switch, and we might not have to wait too long. Merge Games has confirmed that they are working on a physical release of the turn-based RPG, inspired by Paper Marioand we’ll be able to get a box of this spooky adventure on November 25
Developer Conradical Games shared a trailer for the game’s launch yesterday – which will be coming to PC via Steam, Epic, and GOG on September 21. As for the eShop release, that’s all. we know so far it’s “later in 2022”, but if that November 25th is true, then we imagine we’ll see it before then.
Like its inspiration, and other great paper-thin RPGs like Error Fable: The Everlasting SaplingOutbound Ghost captures charm with witty writing, colorful characters, and fun in time-based combat. Even in a world where ghosts are the embodiment of regret, we think this is more than possible.
Switch physical release will cost £29.99 / €34.99 / $34.99 – worth the entrance ticket just to have a cute little ghost on your gaming shelf, we think.
Oh, and there will also be a game protagonist, sold separately. We can’t wait to give him a little squeeze
We’ve received confirmation of a proper release date for The Outbound Ghost, as physical release is subject to change. However, we’re happy to hear from people playing PC games from September 21st.
