If you like soccer and PvE shooting experience, the latest version call of duty Part 01 Reloaded has a double hit for you. Modern War II get it for the first time CoD raid, while Battlefield There is a limited time event for all of you football fans. My personal favorite mode, demilitarized zonealso have some love!
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and free to play battle royale mode Battlefield 2.0 just received an important content update. Serving traditional team based multiplayer game types, battle royale and PvE modes like DMZ, CoD There are many different modes these days. As a result, updates like Season 01 reloaded today feature a ton of new content for the game’s many modes. The usual tweaks, both subtle and obvious — pistol damage is definitely weaker — are also here. Let’s go into it.
Call of duty First raid
Yes, today CoD had its first raid. CoD is notLife or World of Warcraftso it’s easy to imagine dozens of clowns running around in League of Legends skins hop-skip corners. But fear not: The brand new Raid mode is a three-person (unpaired) mission available in Modern War II.
This means you’ll need to buy the $70 full version of the game to play. But that’s not all. CoD also requires you to do one of the following to unlock the raid:
- Complete specific Daily Challenges in Multiplayer or Special Activity
- Be in the top 20 in any Battlefield Battle Royale 2.0 Playlist
- Filter the DMZ with $30,000 in cash
Doing either of these will give you a Raid Quest, which lasts for a week. You need a Raid Quest to play raid.
These quests aren’t too difficult, so most people should be able to join the raid quickly. But what will you do then? Well, the Season 01 Reload update describes the raid as “an exciting mix of combat and puzzles for teams of three to explore.” But it is also associated with MWIIcampaign’s narrative. Since this is the first raid, called “Episode 1”, we can have more to look forward to.
The story begins at the end Modern War IIcampaign’s. And if you ask me, that’s not a bad thing. The first half of Modern War II made me so bored I wanted to play Fog as a palate cleanser, but to be honest, the second half is really enjoyable. Maybe we’ll even be treated More sexy whispers from our boy Ghost.
While the raid and matchmaking homework requirements are a hindrance, I think the general concept of the raid concept has potential and it’s certainly interesting in games like Life. CoD sure hell has a crunch mechanism to make it satisfying, so let’s see how it goes.
Battlefield 2.0 World Cup
While I certainly never thought, “I wish there were more sports in my video games,” I know some people who are smitten with the big football that’s happening right now. CoD here to satisfy your love of sports balls with a limited time mode featuring big soccer balls, regular sized pitches, ATVs and shock sticks. The first team to score five goals.
If I’m being honest, you should probably spend some time with Missile Federation or some kind freak Halo custom game. Sentiment is appreciated, but the mode felt a bit uncomfortable during my initial playthrough.
The Battlefield The World Cup takes place from December 14 to 23.
DMZ Changes and Updates
If you enter the DMZ, Santa Claus is early. There is a new area, “Building 21” and brand new keys scattered throughout Al Mazrah. They grant access to a mysterious new location “outside Al Mazrah and into an extremely dangerous new area of the DMZ”. While I’m so used to it Super dangerous BS in DMZOther additions will hopefully help make the game’s greatest mode a little more survivable.
While there’s no mention of fixing the telepathic AI’s goddamn wall-firing ability, the DMZ will now see self-revival abilities, gas masks, field upgrades, carriers, backpacks and less stuff you don’t need, namely electronics. ingredients and toothpaste. RIP your oral hygiene.
A new option allows eliminated players to join the enemy team by begging for help. I haven’t tried this yet, but to me it’s like offer for sale help. Despite that, sometimes it gets really frustrating when another executive team takes you out when you don’t even care about handling them. Now at least you’ll have a chance to come back faster.
Successful filtering will also reward a random perk; privileges like Scavenger for example. You will get more for each subsequent successful exit, making a successful exit even more valuable.
Kotaku contacted Activision to explicitly ask about the changes to the backpack, which will apparently grant a third weapon slot if you equip a medium or large pack. This seems to be how the backpack works, but maybe I’m missing a nice detail.
Season 01 New map and weapon balance change
Sit down, because you’re about to get really happy or really angry: Pistols no longer single-shot a fully armored opponent. That means chuckles like me who run around with silenced pistols to deliver quiet one-shot explosions as if we were Anton Chigurh or something unlucky. . But that’s okay, because fools wearing riot shields on their backs will now have reduced movement speed and melee damage. Serve them right away.
You’ll want check the patch notes for specifics if you use MX9, M13B, Kastov-74u, VEL 47, Basilisk, .50 GS, Expedite 12 or JOKR.
Modern War IIThe core multiplayer modes are also taking a familiar spot. Shipment, a classic CoD map, will include a few changes according to a tweet from the official CoD account a few days ago:
And while I’m sure many people may have fond memories of Shipment, I’m here to warn you about it. Guys, I’ve played two rounds on this map and it’s been my most frustrating, pointless shooting experience in recent memory. MWII had a hell of a fast TTK, so a map of narrow corridors set at night, covered in tons of smoke from explosions and smoke grenades, means this is nothing more than a celebration. The pre-fire meeting lasted three seconds until- damn your bullshit. But your mileage may vary.
Part 01 Reload Change the quality of life
Don’t you hate it when you activate your XP bonus token and have no way to see how much time is left? That changes today. Time remaining on bonus tokens will now show up in the lobby, and you can even activate them mid-game in the pause menu. I know I always forget to enable them, so that’s a huge plus.
But perhaps one of my personal favorite changes here is participating in a game in progress will not count as losing if you lose. I get engaged mid-game. I suppose Ya has to keep the servers running. But there’s nothing worse than entering a game that is clearly lost and has gone too far to be salvageable. If win/loss stats matter to you, worry no more.
Other minor changes include tweaks to the user interface, the addition of a toggle for the ping wheel, and UI elements that clarify weapon and stat adjustments. . call of duty‘S the weapon loading and upgrading system can be a bit confusingso it’s nice to see some attention there.
All told, there’s a lot of cool stuff to check out. The features of the DMZ are by far the most interesting to me, but I would be lying if I said that the raid wasn’t a catchy siren song, especially if there were a lot of things like so it’s happening. After managing to argue with two other players, I’ll be sure to report back on how this weird new addition is taking shape.
