Phoenix overcame an impressive second-half comeback from San Miguel Beer and a productive performance by Terrence Romeo to win 106-101 on Wednesday’s PBA On Tour at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Tyler Tio took a three-way lead with 48.9 seconds remaining allowing Fuel Masters to win despite losing a 26-point lead in his first appearance in a two-month showdown streak.

Fuel Masters is competing on On Tour sans Encho Serrano, who Phoenix management say has refused to extend his two-year contract and is said to be heading to the MPBL to play for his home province of Pampanga.
